L’air l’eau la vie

Sous un soleil étau

Otant même des pierres

Le sang le sel la terre

Je te conduirai

Au-delà de la nuit

Mon fils

Ma fille

Et il en sera ainsi

Pour toi aussi

Puisque à mon tour étant dépris

De mon souffle désécrit

Tu suivras un à un

Les filaments de ta poésie

Tu amenas

Ton fils

Ta fille

Au seuil du soleil réappris

Since they will have compromised
The air the water the life
Under a sun vise
Even stones
Blood salt the earth

I will drive you
beyond the night
My son
My daughter

And so it will be
For you too
Since in my turn being depressed
From my breath
You will follow one by one
The filaments of your poetry

You brought
Your son
Your daughter
At the threshold of the re-learned sun
